About Simon de Haan

Simon de Haan, a diamond worker, was a son of diamond worker Louis de Haan and of Femmina Kool. Frieda Goldberg, a seamstress, was a daughter of Berl Goldberg and of Scheindel Goldberg, deceased. Simon and Frieda were married on 13 September 1943 at Westerbork transit camp. Louis de Haan, the father of the bridegroom, served as a witness at the wedding; he signed the marriage certificate.
