Levie Goudeket

Winkelbediende Levie Goudeket was in oktober 1936 gehuwd met de Bussumse Maria van Batenburg. Levie is opgepakt tijdens de razzia's van 22/23/ februari 1941 in Amsterdam. In een latere fase van de oorlog had zijn 'gemengde huwelijk'  in zijn voordeel kunnen werken waardoor hij wellicht de oorlog overleefd zou hebben. 

On 22 and 23 Febuary 1941, raids took place in Amsterdam,  in which 390 Jewish men were arrested and deported. Only two of them survived. A recent investigation has shown that more than 100 men were gassed in Hartheim Castle, while Mauthausen was established as the official place of death.
