Gompel (Gerrit) Roodveldt was a son of Abraham Roodveldt and Sientje Presser. He married 24 Jne 1903 in Amsterdam Clara Groen, a daughter of Flip Groen and Klaartje Schraal. The couple lived at 35 Kuinderstraat, 3rd floor, in Amsterdam, had three children, of whom one daughter has survived the Holocaust. Their daughter Elisabeth and son Philip however were killed in Shoah.
