Jeanette de Vries was the daughter of Hartog de Vries and Rachel de Levie.
Jeanette de Vries was a teacher at the Koekoek School in Ruurlo. At the end of 1940 she was banned from the school. She went to The Hague. With help of the Jewish Council she found a new teaching job. On 22 April 1943 she was deported to Auschwitz via the Vught concentration camp.
