Leman Dreese was a son of Gerson Dreese and Esther Lakmaaker. He married 3 January 1907 in Amsterdam to Betje Wolf, from whom he divorced on 20 January 1943. The couple had one son in 1907 who, just as his mother, has survived the Holocaust.
