About Irene Alice Benjamins-Mahler

Irene Alice Mahler was the daughter-in-law of Abraham Benjamins and Sophia Arend.
She married on 9 July 1941 in Rotterdam. She stayed with her husband in Westerbork from 3 October 1942 to 25 February 1944. Her son Abraham Moritz was born there. At the end of February 1944 the transport to Theresienstadt followed, where the family stayed together until the end of September 1944. First Irene's husb…

Irene Alice Benjamins-Mahler was de dochter van Naftal Movscha Mahler [Ladsern (Polen) 1878] en Alida Frieser [R’dam 1886]. Haar ouders kwamen in 1942 om in Auschwitz.

Haar naam komt voor op de Rotterdamse Namenlijst / Kaddisj, hetgeen inhoudt dat zij *inwoonster van Rotterdam was. Mogelijk woonde zij met haar man bij haar ouders of schoonouders in.
