About Froukje Denneboom-Frank

Froukje Frank was a daughter of Lazarus Frank and Judik Sanders. In 1892 she married Joël Denneboom, who passed away in 1938.

Joël en Froukje Denneboom woonden in Beilen (Drenthe). Ze hadden drie dochters, Bertha, Henriëtte en Louise.
Tijdens een tyfusepidemie in Beilen, bracht Froukje (Fromet) soep naar zieke mensen. Zo nam ze de ziekte mee naar huis, waardoor ze haar oudste dochter Bertha (Pessi) verloor. Bertha was onderwijzeres en was nog niet getrouwd. Pessi is naast haar vader begraven in Beilen.
