Johanna Stern-Goudsmit died on 5 January 1943 at the age of 85 in camp Westerbork. She was buried in the Jewish cemetery of Assen on 8 January 1943.

Joseph Mozes Goudsmit, de vader van Johanna Stern-Goudsmit, was getuige bij het huwelijk van mijn bet-over-grootouders Cornelis Pouw en Jannigje Knoop in Wijk bij Duurstede op 4.11.1852.

Zij zijn mijn aanleiding om me in te schrijven op JHM!

Vrede zij met hen allen........nooit vergeten........!

Vandaag-75 jaar geleden-werd op de Joodse Begraafplaats Assen- begraven Johanna Stern-Goudsmit.

Zij was in kamp Westerbork overleden op 5.1.1943

Haar man-Maurits Stern-deed de aangifte in kamp Westerbork....

Hij zelf zou zelf worden afgevoerd naar Auschwitz, waar hij werd vermoord........
