Sientje Gersons-van der Kous

Sientje is een dochter van Eliazer van der Kous en Trijntje Witstijn. Ze trouwde 17 oktober 1912 met Jacob Benjamin Gersons (32 jaar, apotheker van beroep), zoon van Benjamin David Gersons en Betje Manasse.

Jacob Benjamin Gersons was a pharmacist. In 1912, he became the second secretary of the Onderlinge Pharmaceutische Groothandel (OPG) [a pharmacists’ cooperative association]. He married Sientje van der Kous that same year.
Soon after the German invasion, on 14 May 1940, Jacob Benjamin Gersons and his wife committed suicide.
