David Engers was a barber. He was married. He and his wife lived in Amsterdam. They had no children. David Engers helped Jews get certified as unfit for the labour camps. He also helped people in hiding. On 2 June 1943 David Engers was caught in Apeldoorn and deported to Sobibor via Westerbork. His wife survived the war.
