Froukje Saartje Stoppelman was married to Louis Cohen. Two children were born to the couple, Alida and a child who survived the war. In 1942 the family had to move to Amsterdam by order of the occupying forces, and they moved in with Froukje Cohen-Stoppelman’s parents. In a Red Cross letter, sent by friends of the family to the father-in-law of Esther (Stella) Stoppelman-Delden who stayed in London during the war, it is already mentioned on 26 June 1943 that Esther was deported.
