Further research by the editors of the Jewish Monument has shown that Sipora Lewin-Tokkie was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with convyoy 7 of 1 September 1942. Arrival in Auschwitz 3 September 1942. Her name does not appear in the database Auschwitz Prisoners and due to her age of about 62 or 63 years, she has been probably killed immediately upon arrival there.
Her husband, Wolff Joachimiouw Lewin was deported most likely with the same convoy 7 of 1 September 1942 from Mechelen to Auschwitz. His name does not appear in the database Auschwitz Prisoners and due to his age of about 65 or 66 years. He has been probably killed immediately upon arrival there.
Their son Hijman or Hyman Abraham Lewin, tailor, was already deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with convoy 2 of 11 August 1942. Arrival in Auschwitz 14 August 1942. His name appears in the database Auschwitz Prisoners and due to his age of about 20 or 21 years, he has been most likely selected to perform forced labour. According to the death books of Auschwitz (Sterbebücher) his date of death was 4 Sepember 1942
