Gracia Gretchen Bachrach-Sealtiel was married. She and her husband had a daughter, Ingeborg Mirjam. The family lived at 4 Schoolplein in Hellevoetsluis. On 29 December 1938 they had been admitted as refugees from Germany. Until 1939 the textile goods wholesalers N.V. Jesaia Lissauer & Zn. in Amsterdam covered their cost of living. On 6 September 1940 the chief of the local police ordered Gracia Gretchen Bachrach-Sealtiel and her husband to leave the town of Hellevoetsluis before 9 September 1940.
