Henri Philip de Leeuw and his family

Henri Philip de Leeuw was the son of Philippus Salomon de Leeuw and Roosje Cohen. He was born in Woerden, moved to Oldenzaal and later to Amsterdam, where in 1921 he married Aaltje Polak, the daughter of Joseph Polak and Maria Blits. The couple moved backwards and forwards between Amsterdam and The Hague several times, and also lived in Antwerp for a number of years. They settled in The Hague permanently in the 1930s.
