Margaretha Lisser, daughter of Alexander Lisser and Vogeltje Cohen, was married to the non-Jewish Marinus Schoemaker. The family gave shelter to people who went into hiding. At a certain point the family went into hiding themselves in the Gierstraat in Haarlem, together with the mother and a brother of Margaretha: Vogeltje Lisser-Cohen and Meijer Lisser. Margaretha was sent to Flossenberg through Auschwitz.
She had another brother: Marcus, who did not survive the Holocaust too.
