Gabriel Dresden was a son of Meijer Dresden and Roosje Blog. He married Margaretha van der Bokke in Amsterdam on 8 January 1919, a daughter of Sander van der Bokke and Sientje Bronkhorst. The couple had two children: Rosette and Sientje.
Since August 1923 Gabriel Dresden and his wife and two daughters lived in Antwerp (Belgium); their last address there was Boomgaardstraat 201.
Gabriel Dresden was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with convoy 17, as nr. 183, which departed on 31 October 1942 and arrived in Auschwitz on 3 November 1942. Gabriel Dresen might have been killed there immediately upon arrival.
