Saartje Winnik was a daughter of Lion Isaac Winnik and Rebekka Biet. She married 3 January 1906 in Amsterdam to Benedictus Santen, who passed away there on 22 July 1935, age 48 years.
The couple had eight children: Salomon (married to Lena Vischjager, survived the Holocaust and remarried to Elisabeth Italiaander, daughter of 532055 and Sara Mof).
Lion, Esther and Rachel also have survived the war and two children have passed away at a very young age. Their sons David and Isaac did not survive the Holocaust.
