Adriana Aronson was a daughter of Samuel Zwaap and Kaatje Peper. She married 20 September 1916 in Amsterdam Nathan Zwaap, a son of Salomon Zwaap and Clara Velleman.
The couple had two children: Clara and at home living with his parents, son Samuel.
Adriana was born in a family with ten children; one brother emigrated with his family to Johannesburg and three children have died as babies. Her other siblings were Juda, Mozes, Philip, Abraham and Clara. They have been killed all during the Holocaust.
