This transport contained 999 deportees, among them 147 children, younger than 16 years. More or less in the same ratio as in the 1st convoy. The registrations began on 31 July and were completed 8 days later on 7 August. Just as for the previous convoy, to be able to form the quota it was necessary to draw on those, called for the next convoys.
On arrival on 14 August 1942, of this convoy were 552 persons registered in Auschwitz and 447 persons were immediately killed on arrival in the gas chambers. On 8 May there were three survivors of this convoy.
