Heintje Goldberg-Vos was deported from Westerbork to Auschwitz on 11 January 1943, where she must have arrived about 3 days later, together with her husband Gerson Goldberg. Contrary to what the "Sterbebücher" (death records) of Auschwitz give to information about her husband, who was murdered there on 18 February 1943, there is no indication whatsoever for Heintje Goldberg-Vos that she stayed in Auschwitz longer than the arrival date of Auschwitz. ±14 January 1943.
Her name, as Heintje Goldberg, occurs at the transport lists as drawn up in Westerbork, but where is no indication that she stayed longer in Auschwitz after arrival. This could mean that Heintje Goldberg-Vos was murdered immediately upon arrival on 14 January 1943 in the gas chambers of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
After the war, the Dutch authorities seem to have assumed that the fate of Heintje Goldberg-Vos was the same as that of her husband. They established on the basis of survivors' testimonials that after arrival in Auschwitz on 14 January 1943, both could not be alive after 30 April 1943.
Therefore, the Ministry of Justice ordered the Municipality of Amsterdam to draw up also for Heintje Vos, last married to Gerson Goldberg, a certificate of death in which officially is established that Heintje Goldberg-Vos died in Auschwitz on 30 April 1943.
However, the editors of Joods Monument would like to point out to you as a reader, that that date is probably incorrect and should possibly be 14 January 1943, although Joods Monument only publishes official death dates on its website, as determined by the Ministry of Justice and its published in the Dutch Government Gazette.

The above link only shows that Heintje Goldberg-Vos arrived in Auschwitz and that she was deported from Westerbork. Her Jewish Council registration card shows that her deportation took place on 11 January 1943.
