Eliazer de Raaij was a son of Jacob de Raaij and Regina Deen. He married for the first time in 1927 in Amsterdam. He had a child from that marriage. He divorced in 1931. His first wife and child survived the war. Eliazer married for a second time in 1933 in Amsterdam. That marriage was dissolved by a divorce on 31 December 1941.
