The Police Commissioner of Arnhem requested that Abraham de Vries, a pharmacist living at 16 Koningstraat in Arnhem, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Abraham de Vries, geb. 17.02.1915 zou op 17.12.1943 met transport no. 53 vanuit het Franse doorgangskamp Drancy naar Auschwitz zijn gedep.

Op een lijst (no. 789) wordt zijn beroep van apotheker genoemd:

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
