Bertha Salm-Walthausen

Bertha Walthausen was a daughter of Andreas Walthausen and Sibilla Daniels.

I am aware of a Bertha Walthausen who was married to my grand uncle Henrik Adolf Philipse (born Antwerp 11 Feb 1881). They were married in Liege on 19 Nov 1907 and they had a daughter Renee Helene (born Antwerp on 11 Sept 1908).
That is all of of the information, I know about Bertha. I was not aware that she died in Auschwitz. I am not sure what happened to Henrik or Renee.

I have found a Renee Helene Philipse on your Survivors and Victims Database Renee was the daughter of Bertha Salm-Walthausen from her first marriage to Henrik Adolp Philipse (Renee is my 1st Cousin 1x Removed).
I notice that her mother Bertha Salm-Walthausen sadly died in Auschwitz.
Are you able to advise if Renees was a survivor or a victim?

In which database did you find Renee Helene Philipse. We cannot find here in the Community Jewish Monument (this website).

Sali Salm adn Bertha Walthausen were deported on 10 October 1942 from Mechelen to Auschwitz.
