Simmetje Slomper was the daughter of Hartog Slomper and Wilhelmina Reijs. She was the widow of Gerrit Sterringa, who fashioned sculptures designed by Hildo Krop and John Raedecker. Simmetje Slomper had two children. One child had left for the Dutch East Indies in the 1930s. Simmetje lived with the other child and their spouse.
