Samuel Aronson was a son of Mozes Salomon Aronson and Adriana Praeger. He married on 29 Januari 1890 in Amsterdam Kaatje Peper, a daughter of Juda Peper and Mirjam d'Ancona. Kaatje passed away on 17 September 1938 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen
Samuel and Kaatje had ten children together; one son left on 16 June 1936 with his family to Johannesburg; one little daughter died in 1894, 1 year old and a twin died in 1901, only one month old.
The other children, Juda, Adriana, Mozes, Philip, Abraham and Clara have been killed all during the Holocaust.
