Dr. Ruth Kantorowicz was an economist. Since 1936 she lived with the Ursulinen (community of women) in Venlo. She occupied herself with household work. At the beginning of August 1942 she was deported first to Amersfoort, then to Westerbork and finally to Auschwitz.
