Judik Gaarkeuken, daughter of Wolf Gaarkeuken and Marianne Keizer, married 18 December 1929 in Amsterdam Mozes Dotsch, a son of Jacob Dotsch and Leentje Kanes. The couple had no children. They lived at Karel du Jardinstraat 72 a III but per 12 March 1943, they were registered at their last known address Hoendiepstraat 31 II in Amsterdam.
Judik Gaarkeuken was a seamstress. Not long after the removal in 1943 to Hoendiepstraat 31 II, she was deported to Camp Vugth and 24 May sent from Vught to Westerbork, to be put on transport the nex day to Sobibor. Upon arrival there 28 May 1943, she was immediately killed.
Mozes Dotsch, diamond worker, had a job with the Jewish Council after his registration there. Since 20 July 1942 he worked for their cleaning service and as disciplinarian in the Jewish Theatre (Hollandsche Schouwburg), as wel as co-worker “employment Germany”. Early March 1943 his address was Hoendiepstraat 31 where he stayed only for about six weeks. 22 April 1943 he too was deported to Westerbork where he stayed in barak 69. 18 May Mozes Dotsch was put on transport to Sobibor where he was killed immediately upon arrival there 21 May 1943.
