Bernard Salomon Themans was married to Judik Simons. They were married on May 1st 1935 and lived in the Centraal Israëlitisch Weeshuis in Utrecht, where they were employed as 'father and mother' of the orphans. They were deported with their own children, the complete personnel of the orphanage, the orphans and thirty German-Jewish guest children.
