About Salomon Benima

The parents of Salomon Benima came from the north of the Netherlands. He was a 'selfmade man'. At the age of 22 he already owned a big house with a butler. He was a textile merchant. He wrote a couple of books on economics and was also interested in politics.

Salomon Benima and his family

Salomon Benima and Sara Duifje de Vries married in 1913 in Amsterdam. They had six children, of whom two did not live at home anymore. Five children survived the war.
