Jacob van Loggem was a son of Jonas van Loggem and Saartje Walg. He was married in Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer on 6 April 1932 to a non-Jewish woman and had two children. During the war he took part in the resistance. After he was arrested, he ended up in the Kommando Allach, near Dachau. There he died in May 1945.
The mortal remains of Jacob van Loggem were buried in 1960 on the Nederlands ereveld Loenen.
Jacob had eight siblings, of whom one has survived the war. His other siblings , who also have been killed during the Holocaust were Rebecca, Levie, Joseph, Rozette, Samuel, Max and Hartog.

Jacob van Loggem was married. The couple lived in the Rapenburgerstraat 39 II in Amsterdam. His wife has survived the war.
