Wilhelm Kurz came to the Netherlands in 1920 with the entire family. He went to the secondary Modern School (HBS) in Rotterdam. Later he moved to Eindhoven where he started working for Philips. During the war he was brought to Vught with the Philips transport. From there he was deported to several camps.
