Richard Kahn was Dr. med and a dentist in Dortmund. He married Karola Ruth Voss in 1936. In February 1937 they fled to the Netherlands.

Richard Kahn was getrouwd met Karola Ruth Voss. Op 25 november 1943 werd in het kamp Westerbork hun dochter Sylvia Madeleine geboren.
