Abraham Snatager's car which he used for business in Zutphen where he lived. Gertrude Gotthelf (right) is Lotte's aunt by marriage to her uncle Siegmund Gotthelf. Gertrude and Siegmund were parents of Lore Gotthelf, my mother.

Lotte Snatager and her sister Emmy Marx with their respective husbands Abraham Snatager and Hugo Marx. This photo is possibly in Karlsruhe where Emmy and Hugo lived after their marriage. Hugo was a lawyer in Karlsruhe. Emmy had a degree in Chemistry from the university, but she may have worked as a teacher.
My mother Lore Gotthelf was first cousin to Charlotte Cohen, and as a child visited her during the summer from Frankfurt in Zutphen in Holland. Bram, her Dutch husband was listed professionally as a translator but was also a chocolate salesman for the Dutch chocolate firm Kwatta and always had wonderful samples to try -- this is a favorite story of my mother's.
