Lucas Ligtenberg:
On May 14 1940, after the Netherlands surrendered to the Germans, a life boat named Zeemanshoop with 46 mostly Jewish refugees left Scheveningen. One of the passengers was a certain P Zaitschek. No one seems to have been able to find out who he was or what happened to him after their safe arrival in England.
This must be another P Zaitschek, as it is documented that Paul Zaitschek was in Den Hague on June 1st, 1940, and perished in Auschwitz in 42.
