Abraham Meijer from Druten, (name also written as Meyer), born 1864, a purser and steward by trade (sailor), was a son of Liefman Meijer and Helena Philipse. After the departure from Mechelen, both the convoys of 15 January 1943 formed a single transport of 1555 deportees, including 287 children.
