Kurt Moos was married and had one child. The family tried to escape to Switserland. In Northern France they were captured. The child was left in the care of a lady who helped her to survive the war.

Kurt Moos, his wife Gerda and their little daughter Yvonne (born May 22, 1939) tried in July/August 1942 to flee to Switzerland through occupied France. They made it till Morteau (Dept. Doubs), close to the Swiss border. They may have been turned back, though we have no nominal evidence of this.
