About Izak Asscher

Izak (Jitschak) Asscher was a son of Abraham Asscher. He decided to become a furniture maker so he would be able to work in Palestine.

Izak Asscher lived in hiding with a family in De Krite near Boornbergum. He was betrayed, arrested and brought to the prison in Leeuwarden. There he was terribly tortured b…
