Wolf and Henriëtte Erszler-Spits had gone into hiding in Delft in the Van der Mastenstraat 11. They were betrayed by a member of the Landwacht (who was liquidated on 13 March 1945 not far from his own house).
On 5 January 1943 the couple was brought to Scheveningen prison.
