Taube Hoffmann-Offentier

The Arnhem police commissioner requested that Taube Hoffmann-Offentier be located, detained and brought to trial. She lived in Arnhem and had changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Jakob Hoffmann werd op 16 maart 1944 opgepakt op het adres Alteveer 17 in Arnhem, samen met zijn vrouw Taube Hoffmann-Offentier en dochter Lotte Hoffmann. Zij zaten op dat moment ondergedoken bij Hendrik Jan Willem Elbertsen (Duisburg, 4 maart 1912, melkventer). In een naoorlogse verklaring vertelde Elbertsen eerder aan Joden onderdak te hebben geboden.
