Simon Pool

Simon Pool was a son of Simon Mozes Pool and Leentje de Vries. He was one of the six children in that family of whom three children have died before the war. However, also his brothers Hartog and Gottfried did not survive the Holocaust.
Simon married in Amsterdam on 22 December 1910 to Celine Judith Heigmans, daughter of Salomon Heigmans and Saartje Serlui.

Simon Pool was makelaar in verzekeringen. Hij trouwde op op 22 dec. 1910 te Amsterdam met Celine Judith Heigmans. (zie voor de samenstelling van het gezin bij haar).

Simon Pool en Celine Heigmans zijn mijn overgrootouders. Hun zoon Rudolf Pool was mijn, inmiddels overleden, grootvader. Het is mooi om te zien hoe Simon Pool op zijn zoon lijkt.
