About Maurits van Thijn

Maurits van Thijn was a son of Levie van Thijn (b. 1859) and Elisabeth van Bergen (1854-1922). In 1913, he marrie Heintje Kopuit (1889-1920) in Weesp. They had two daughters, but their firstborn passed away within a few months. After the death of his wife, Maurits remarried in 1921. With Rebekka van Coevorden, he had four other children.
