About Maurits Goldsteen

Maurits Goldsteen was the widower of Eva Eisendrath. He had two children. One of them survived the war. The other child was Frieda.

Maurits Goldsteen lived in with one of his children. In April 1943 he was admitted in to the Jewish Hospital in Amsterdam. In this hospital Maurits Goldsteen wrote a few letters and postcards which have been preserved.

Maurits Goldsteen

Maurits is een zoon van Abraham Goldsteen en Carolina Levi. Hij trouwde 7 november 1906 met Eva Eistendrath (28 jaar), dochter van Abraham Eisendrath en Sophia Smit.

Na het overlijden van Eva hertrouwde hij 6 augustus 1930 met Vroukje Grootkerk (48 jaar, geboren in Leeuwarden), dochter van Hartog Grootkerk en Judigje van der Woude.
