About Jacobus Maurits Boas

Jacobus Maurits Boas was the editor of the Makelaarsweekblad [weekly for estate agents] until the journalists' decree in June 1941, when he was forced to resign because he was Jewish. He also served as secretary to the association of estate agents. He planned to resign as secretary on 1 January 1942, which would mark the 25th anniversary of his board membership.
