Aron Barend, born 21 October 1910 in Amsterdam, was a son of Samuël Barend and Esther van Ploeg. He married Esther Brilleman in Amsterdam on 20 May 1934, a daughter of Isaac Brilleman and Clara Bromet, who was born 4 February 1909.
