Rebecca Gobets was a daughter of Jacob Gobets and Betje Barend. She married 20 December 1923 in Amsterdam to Willem Oznowicz, a son of Itzek Oznowicz and Rebecca Tonningen.
Rebecca was born in a family with ten children, of whom four children have died before the war. Her other siblings, namely Judith, Abraham, Sophia, Catharina and David have been killed during the Holocaust.
