Henri de Haas was a son of Salomon de Haas and Lena Eijl. He married 5 September 1934 in Rotterdam to a German woman, who most likely has survived the war.
Henri was born in a family with nine children, of whom two children have survived tthe war. His sisters Rosetta, Hendrika and Annie and his brothers Mozes, Hermanus and Louis have been killed all during the Holocaust.
