About Samuel Katan

Samuel Katan was a son of Marcus Katan and Sophia Cohen. He married on 10 June 1903 in Rotterdam to Rijntje Polak, daughter of Barend Polak and Sara Cohen. She passed away already in 1923. Samuel and Rijntje had three children, Marcus who died 2 months old, Barend Josua and Sophia. After the death of his first wife, Samuel remarried on 11 June 1924 to Betje Bremer.
