Lisamaria Meirowski was a paediatrician who had escaped from Cologne (Germany) in 1938. She had taken her PhD in Cologne and Italy. Lisamaria Meirowski was the daughter of the Cologne dermatology professor Emil Meirowski. She sought refuge at the Trappist monastery in Berkel-Enschot, from where she was deported to Auschwitz.
