Hijman Koopman

Hijman Koopman, a son of Emanuel Koopman and Schoontje Levij, married Adolphina Slap in Amsterdam on 9 September 1914, a daughter of Izaak Slap and Rachel Waas.
Hijman was born in a family with nine children, of whom two children have died in childhood. His other siblings, . Isaac, Salomon, Levie, Joseph, Samson and Betje, have been killed all during the Holocaust.
